Chemours is part of ARCH2: The Appalachian Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub

Chemours is part of ARCH2 and is looking to develop two water electrolysis-based clean hydrogen production facilities at or near our West Virginia sites.

Investing in local STEM education

The team is passionate about investing in our future STEM superstars at the Kanawha County School District and other local groups near the plant.

Partnership with the American Forest Foundation

Chemours provided a $260,000 grant to help fund the expansion of the Family Forest Carbon Program (FFCP) into West Virginia. Chemours funding will enable incentives to enroll 6,500 acres of family-owned forest land to implement management practices to grow the economic and environmental value of their forested properties over time.
